Yesterday I had an 11 hour school day. Coming home, I was drained so Tommy cooked dinner for us and then we took to our back yard for some swing time in our hammock. We caught the sunset and stole the last daylight minutes. It’s amazing how time spent seeking joy during such a brief portion of the day can spread that joy into the entire day- even the hard moments already lived.
Really, it couldn’t have been a better day.
Got to hang with Tommy and the guys at the lake. It rained the last day but no complaints here. The enjoyment of being out on the water was heightened by knowing that most were tucked away inside avoiding the wet.
I spread wide my arms and drank in His goodness He flooded on us all that day.
Back to school with a new blog at hand.
Simply because I want to remember the journey.
I want to remember it all.
